Hey friends. It’s been awhile, I know. This next batch of pictures captures winter in Annecy. I realized how much I missed living in a place with all four season.
Below are some shots spanning from November, Christmas time, lots of snow in January, skiing in the Alps, to this much-warmer past weekend.
Locations on display are: Annecy, Geneva (again!), Lyon, Manigod (ski resort)
Fall on Lake Annecy
Blurry photo, but more about the colors. Remember this version for later.
People just living their lives amidst all this beauty.
The huge lawn near the lake. Frisbee is so happening here in the summer!
Halloween + Christmas!
A Merry-go-round near the lawn.
Semnoz, a nearby mountain. Lots of paragliders train take-off and landing here.
There is also skiing in the winter. Mont Blanc was visible from up here!

This is called Galette des Rois. You get crowned if you find the little charm hidden inside!
It is shared on Epiphany on January 6th, when The Three Wise Men supposedly arrived in Bethlehem.
The youngest “child” in our class goes under the table and points at each guest, so they get served their portion of the cake. Our youngest was 21. 🙂
So. MUCH. Snow!
My apartment buildings.
On the way to school, our bus skidded and hit a road sign! We lost our side mirror and all had to leave it at the next stop

Randomly stumbled upon a Venetian Maquarade!
Beer O’Clock. I love this place. You get a beer card that you put money on, then you slap it on the table and pour as much as you like. You can try many beers this way!
On the way to Manigod, where we went skiing!
You can hang out in there.

Spring is back… an so is Spider-Man?
